Summary

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and administrating Windows clients and servers in a medium to large network environment spanning across all Acutec facilities. The individual will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software as well as providing support for all end users on key applications and processes. Strong and proven communication (both written and verbal), technical, and problem-solving skills are a must. The individual will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting all hardware and software issue including but not limited to networking, printers, switches, mobile devices, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Installing and upgrading software to ensure security at the user level. Provide advanced software application support.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Providing support to users being the first level of escalation.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and establish good relationships with all constituents – internal and external.
Requirements:

Education & Experience Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and at least four years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and administer all Microsoft products.
  • Experience working with TCP/IP, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
  • Ability to manager a variety of hardware items.
  • Problem Solving and Process Improvement
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for maintaining work logs and procedures.

  • Vendor relationships
