Join our team in Bucyrus, Ohio as a Production Zone Lead, where you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, driving safety excellence, and leading a high-performing team. In this hands-on leadership position, you will oversee material flow and production activities within an assigned zone, conduct daily start-up meetings, coach and train employees, and ensure production schedules are met efficiently and safely. Arctic Cat markets its Snowmobile, ATV and SXS products through a network of independent dealers located throughout the United States and Canada and through distributors representing dealers in Europe, South America, the Middle East, Asia and other international markets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in running assigned zone for all materials and area assigned.
- Conduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals, and communicate weekly work plans in zone.
- Train and provide guidance to hourly employees within a zone of operation.
- Manage fulfillment needs of daily production schedules and any schedule revisions for materials within zones of responsibility.
- Participate in monthly safety audits and implement solutions based on identified gaps.
- Track and input of metrics for assigned zone.
- Assist team members with troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
- Assist in identifying areas of improvement and support proper implementation.
- Ensure all company supplied tools and equipment used are properly stored at the end of each shift by reviewing daily inspection sheets for vehicles and PIT equipment.
- Execute and maintain acceptable performance standards for fulfillment, quality, safety, and housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience required, experience in warehouse environment required
- Software knowledge: MRP, SAP, WMS, YMS, and Microsoft experience preferred
