Lead a warehouse transformation while helping drive the next phase of growth.
HTI is recruiting a Warehouse Manager for an established technology services organization in Greenville, SC. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee a fast-paced distribution operation supporting customers nationwide while leading warehouse optimization, process improvements, and organizational initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys building efficient operations, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll DoAs the Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a 30,000-square-foot warehouse while preparing the operation for future expansion.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, storage, shipping, and cycle counting.
- Manage and develop a team of six warehouse associates while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Drive warehouse organization, space optimization, and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and eliminate obsolete inventory through recycling, secure destruction, or customer returns.
- Improve inventory accuracy through effective warehouse processes and controls.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Partner with leadership to prepare the warehouse for future ISO certification initiatives.
- Support future ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation and technology transformation projects.
- Manage facility-related vendors and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer requirements and operational excellence.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for warehouse operational issues while maintaining exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a proactive warehouse leader who enjoys improving processes, leading teams, and preparing operations for future growth.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading warehouse teams and driving operational performance.
- Strong inventory management and warehouse organization experience.
- Experience implementing or sustaining 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (SAP experience is highly preferred).
- Previous involvement with ERP, WMS, or technology implementation projects is a significant plus.
- Experience preparing for or supporting ISO certification is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional Saturday presence for leadership visibility (team rotates Saturday coverage)
- Salary: Up to $90,000, depending on experience
- Full-Time | Exempt
