CNC Programmer & Machining Technician

Location: First Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM | Saturdays 6:00 AM-12:00 PM as needed (up to 56 hours/week)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (Potential after 90 days)
Starting Pay: From $33.00/hour (Higher compensation available based on experience.)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Machining Technician to manufacture precision industrial components. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining tight machining tolerances and producing high-quality finished parts in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret machining drawings and technical blueprints.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills.
  • Create and edit G-code programs using Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls (experience with all controls is not required).
  • Machine parts to specifications while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0005".
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality components while meeting production requirements.
  • Follow established safety procedures in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain dependable attendance and work scheduled hours, including occasional Saturdays.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience programming and operating CNC lathes and mills.
  • Ability to read and interpret machining drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience with G-code programming.
  • Familiarity with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain CNC controls.
  • Strong understanding of precision machining and quality standards.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
