The Opportunity
Paw Prosper is an animal health and wellness platform built to help pets stay healthy, recover quickly, and age gracefully. Within our education division, two of the most respected names in the field sit side by side: the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, the premier hands-on certification body in veterinary rehabilitation, and OnlinePetHealth, the leading global continuing-education community for rehabilitation professionals.

The Director of Clinical Education holds the academic and clinical heart of both. This is a highly visible role: the person who fills it will set the educational standard for the profession, mentor the faculty who teach it, and become a recognized voice for the future of veterinary rehabilitation on stages around the world.

It is also a role with a distinguished lineage. Previous holders include Dr. Janet Van Dyke and Dr. Kara Amstutz - both DACVSMR and widely respected leaders in the field. We are seeking a successor with the clinical depth, teaching gift, and presence to carry that standard forward.

The Platforms

Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI)
The premier hands-on certification and continuing-education provider in canine rehabilitation. CRI is RACE-approved and recognized by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB), and has certified well over 1,800 veterinarians, physical therapists, and credentialed veterinary technicians
urses across dozens of countries since 2002. Its programs - spanning rehabilitation therapist (CCRT), acupuncture (CVAT), veterinary nurse and assistant pathways, and orthotics and prosthetics - pair online didactic study with immersive, in-person laboratory instruction and live “dog professor” patients. CRI's signature is its collaborative model, bringing veterinarians and physical therapists together to teach far more hands-on practice than any comparable program.

OnlinePetHealth (OPH)
A global continuing-education membership community of more than 15,000 veterinary rehabilitation professionals. OPH delivers monthly webinars across small-animal, equine, and hydrotherapy tracks, alongside a weekly podcast, blog, research summaries, business training, and the long-running annual Vet Rehab Summit. Its library draws on a roster of more than 100 expert lecturers worldwide, and its accredited webinars support members' CPD requirements. Together, CRI and OPH give Paw Prosper an integrated education ecosystem reaching professionals from their first certification through a full career of advanced learning.

Role Summary
The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for the content, faculty, and academic standards of CRI's certification and continuing-education programs and, working into the role over time, the clinical content and editorial direction of OnlinePetHealth. The Director ensures every course, lecture, webinar, blog, and podcast reflects current research and best practice; leads and grows the faculty; develops new certifications and CE; safeguards the institute's accreditations; and represents Paw Prosper as a leading educator and thought leader in veterinary rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

Academic and Content Leadership
Responsible for educational content presented across CRI certification and continuing-education courses, and, over time across OnlinePetHealth webinars, blogs, and podcasts.
Review and approve content prior to delivery - including faculty lecture materials and content presented by third-party lecturers.
Ensure all content remains current with the latest peer-reviewed research, evidence, and best practices in veterinary rehabilitation.
Champion evidence-based practice and support CRI's growing investment in clinical research that advances the field.
Must attend all CRI in-person courses as to oversee presentation of content and lead

Program and Curriculum Development
Lead the development of new certifications and continuing-education offerings that expand CRI's curriculum and respond to professional demand.
Build integrated learning pathways that connect the OPH community to CRI certification and make the most of shared content across both platforms.

Faculty Leadership
Lead and manage the faculty as they prepare for courses, lecture, and teach in lab and TA roles.
Recruit and retain a high-caliber roster of lecturers and teaching assistants.
Onboard, develop, and review instructors so that teaching quality is consistent and excellent across an independent faculty.

Accreditation and Quality Stewardship
Work alongside the Administrative Coordinator to maintain CRI's RACE and AAVSB standing and OPH's CPD accreditations; safeguard the integrity of the education, assessment, and certification records.

Operational Coordination
Direct the CRI Administrator to ensure all on-site preparations and requirements are executed so that every class is delivered professionally and runs smoothly.
Coordinate with the Education Growth and Enrolment Manager to promote programs and convert prospective students.
Partner cross-functionally with Paw Prosper executives and directors across Marketing, Business Development, and other departments to align educational programming with broader organizational objectives and growth initiatives.
Engage with Paw Prosper’s advisory board as a subject-matter resource, contributing clinical and educational perspective to strategy conversations and helping shape the company’s long-term direction in the professional community.

Thought Leadership and External Presence
Serve as a visible face of veterinary rehabilitation education - speaking “on podium” at domestic and international conferences and events on relevant topics in rehabilitation and rehabilitation education.
Build and publish thought leadership across OPH's podcast, webinar, and editorial channels and through professional publications.
Cultivate relationships and partnerships with veterinary schools, specialty colleges, and professional organizations (e.g., AARV, ACVSMR, IAVRPT) to strengthen CRI and OPH's standing in the field.

Required Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution, with an active license in good standing.
Substantial experience teaching, lecturing, or instructing in veterinary rehabilitation, with outstanding public-speaking and presentation skills.
Deep clinical expertise across canine rehabilitation - orthopedic and neurological conditions, pain management, sports medicine, therapeutic exercise, and physical modalities.
Demonstrated experience developing curriculum or educational content.
Leadership experience managing and developing people or faculty.
Ability and willingness to meet the location and travel requirements above, including attendance at all in-person CRI courses.

Preferred Qualifications and Assets
DACVSMR diplomate status or other advanced credentials
Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) certification
A record of peer-reviewed publication, authorship, or research contribution in the field.
Leadership or active involvement in organized veterinary medicine (AARV, ACVSMR, IAVRPT, or similar).
Experience with online and hybrid education - learning-management systems, webinars, podcasts, and digital content production.
International teaching experience and comfort working across a global professional community.
