We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy and following safety procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect materials for damage, quality, and accuracy.
- Unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management systems.
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment as needed.
- Organize warehouse storage areas and keep workspaces clean and safe.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to ensure efficient material flow.
Your Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
