Job Description:

We are looking for qualified security guards to join our growing team of Security Professionals. Armor Security is responsible for securing many critical sites, and the right candidate must be vigilant and good with people. We are currently hiring for all shifts. Basic duties include walking tours of the facility, interacting with and assisting our customers' employees and tenants, monitoring camera systems, controlling access to customer facilities, and other security-related duties. No prior security experience is required; we train you and support you as you grow in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, check them in, and enforce site access procedures

• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and common areas; patrol the site and verify checkpoints

• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in the Belfry Security Guard Management system

• Respond to alarms, safety concerns, and emergencies; de-escalate conflict and call for assistance when needed

• Write clear, factual incident reports and daily activity reports

• Provide excellent customer service to client staff and the public

• Follow post orders and site-specific instructions

Job Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card

• Pass a background check, drug screening, and reference check

• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods

Nice to have:

• Prior security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

• Comfort with basic technology, such as mobile apps and reporting software
