Project Coordinator - Clinical Research

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Coordinator - Clinical Research based in United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to clinical research programs that support the development of innovative, life-changing therapies. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring clinical projects are executed efficiently by providing operational and administrative support throughout the study lifecycle. Working closely with Program Directors and Global Project Managers, you will help coordinate activities, maintain project documentation, and monitor essential tracking systems. This position combines organization, collaboration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy supporting complex clinical studies while working with global teams. This is a full-time remote opportunity that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.

Accountabilities:

The Project Coordinator will provide comprehensive project coordination and administrative support to ensure clinical research studies are delivered on time and in accordance with established processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting cross-functional teams.

  • Support Program Directors and, when required, Global Project Managers with study startup, maintenance, and closeout activities.
  • Coordinate project meetings, both virtual and in-person, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, presentation materials, and meeting documentation.
  • Prepare, review, edit, and maintain project documents, reports, and study-related materials with a high level of accuracy.
  • Produce detailed meeting minutes and distribute action items to support project follow-up and accountability.
  • Maintain project tracking tools, shared document repositories, and clinical management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Monitor project action items and assist internal teams in tracking progress against deliverables.
  • Enter and manage project information using platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft Office applications, and other project management tools.
  • Serve as a backup contact for assigned customer accounts when needed.
  • Support compliance with internal processes, documentation standards, and project management procedures.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience supporting clinical research projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. They should be comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication across stakeholders.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in life sciences, healthcare, or medical-related disciplines preferred.
  • Experience in clinical research, particularly early-phase clinical studies, strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Veeva, or similar clinical research and project management platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve processes and performance.
