BRG’s Global Construction Engineering Consulting practice offers professional experience and competence in fact-finding, data analytics, claims/dispute analysis and management, and litigation support; along with technical expertise in engineering, architecture, construction management, public contracting, specifications and technical document development, schedule development and analysis, cost analysis, negotiations, and expert witness testimony. Our experts are experienced in litigation and domestic and international arbitration, and include Professional Engineers, Project Management Professionals, Registered Architects, AACE Certified Planning and Scheduling Professionals, Certified Public Accountants, Certified Fraud Examiners, and executive industry leaders.


This position is for a highly motivated Senior Associate to join BRG’s North American Construction Engineering Consulting Practice. This is a staff level position with tons of room for continued career growth and development. This position requires a problem solver with strong analytical ability. The work of a Senior Associate can be either qualitative or quantitative in nature; working on projects in various industries; and include subject-matter research to data collection to the preparation of statistical, financial, and other forms of analysis. This person needs to enjoy detailed analysis, document review, and writing and editing technical reports. This person will interact regularly with sophisticated clients and must represent BRG professionally in those encounters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support experts and senior staff on troubled construction project-oriented consulting engagements.
  • Develop and update project schedules in Primavera P6, including baseline schedules, lookahead schedules, and recovery schedules.
  • Perform detailed research and analysis, then put the results into action (e.g., gather, review, and summarize literature and data from the public domain, specialized industry resources, or client, public, and commercial databases).
  • Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop solutions.
  • Assist senior staff with the development of time, schedule, and cost analysis.
  • Assist with preparation of expert reports including drafting, editing, and proofreading.
  • Prepare report exhibits and graphics to support analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations for mediation, arbitration, trial and/or industry seminars and marketing events.
  • Participate in a team environment and work hard, fast, and efficiently to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and undergraduate level understanding of Accounting, Building Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or other related subjects. Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of Primavera P6; exposure to schedule development and analysis required.
  • Two to four (2-4) years of experience in construction scheduling, project controls, or related project support roles.
  • Prior work experience in Construction related areas such as: Scheduling, Accounting, Estimating.
  • Procurement, Project Management, Architectural or Engineering Building Design preferred and beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a deadlinedriven environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven capability with MS Office Software with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
  • Professional Licensure not required, but beneficial (Professional Architect, Engineer, Accountant or General Contractor);
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $105,000 per year

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
