What we are looking for:
Partner Forces is seeking a Consultant to support Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients in delivering mission-critical programs and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, low-ego problem solver who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, managing competing priorities, and partnering directly with government leaders to solve complex operational challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of engagements supporting homeland security, emergency management, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and other national security missions. Consultants are expected to think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution, providing exceptional client service and contributing to the growth of Partner Forces' capabilities.
What you'll do:
- Lead workstreams supporting client programs and strategic initiatives.
- Manage project schedules, priorities, deliverables, and risks across multiple efforts.
- Analyze complex problems and develop actionable recommendations for client leadership.
- Develop executive briefings, strategic communications, and client deliverables.
- Build trusted relationships with government stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve programs, strengthen operations, and enhance mission outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on project execution.
- Contribute to business development, proposal efforts, and internal initiatives as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7 years of experience supporting federal government programs, consulting engagements, or related project management efforts.
- Experience supporting DHS or other federal civilian agencies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level writing and briefing development.
- Experience developing reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination or security clearance, as required.
