Accountabilities:

The Product Pre-Sales Engineer, CX will support enterprise sales initiatives by providing technical expertise, solution strategy, and customer-facing guidance throughout the sales process. This role requires strong technical knowledge, business understanding, and the ability to translate customer challenges into innovative solutions.

  • Partner with sales teams to develop technical strategies, qualify opportunities, and support complex customer engagements.
  • Design and present tailored demonstrations of customer experience solutions, including conversational AI, knowledge management, analytics, automation, messaging, and digital engagement capabilities.
  • Understand customer environments, technology stacks, business processes, and operational challenges to recommend effective solutions.
  • Lead discovery sessions with prospects and customers to identify opportunities and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and technology executives by connecting technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop innovative solutions and improve customer experiences.
  • Support technical evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, RFIs, and RFP responses with compelling and solution-focused content.
  • Create customer-focused presentations and narratives that demonstrate the value of modern customer service transformation.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams regarding customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of AI, digital engagement, analytics, cloud platforms, and emerging customer experience technologies.
  • Build internal relationships across sales and technical teams to promote adoption and understanding of customer automation solutions.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced solutions professional with a strong technical background and proven ability to support enterprise technology sales. You should be comfortable working with customers, understanding complex business requirements, and communicating technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, data, or related technical roles supporting complex software sales.
  • 7+ years of consulting or customer engagement experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with contact center technologies or customer experience platforms.
  • Proven success supporting enterprise SaaS solutions, software architecture, APIs, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of chatbot, automation, conversational AI, digital engagement, and analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management platforms, asynchronous messaging, and customer self-service technologies.
  • Understanding of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DOM, and browser development tools.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand new business processes and connect technology solutions to business goals.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across sales, product, engineering, and customer teams.
