Status: Full-time, non-exempt hourly
Department: Shipping
Reports to: General Manager (GM)
Location: Dinuba, CA
Schedule: March–October (slow season) M–F, 7:30 am–4:00 pm | November–February (busy season) M–Sat, 7:30–4:00 pm
(busy season is subject to change depending on business levels and weather)
Pay: $20 - $23/ hour (Pay determination is based on experience and qualifications.)
The opportunity.
Help bring customer orders to life! In this role, you’ll process orders in SAP, our inventory software. You’ll also partner with the GM to manage the shipping cycle, and optimize truck logistics to ensure efficient, accurate product deliveries. You’ll keep everything compliant (including QC/Phyto), provide timely shipping updates and documentation to the Sales team, and ensure paperwork for each order is accurate so invoices are processed efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities you can expect.
- Process orders in SAP to support quick, accurate fulfillment.
- Partner with the GM to manage the shipping cycle, including:
- Generate shipping paperwork and monitor delivery sequence
- Schedule trucks, maximize truck space, and coordinate customer pickups
- Answer internal and external shipping questions
- Communicate a daily shipping log to the Sales team for optimal customer service
- Ensure compliance with QC/Phyto so products can enter other states
- Ensure all order paperwork is accurate for efficient, timely invoicing.
- Perform other duties as required.
Working environment.
This position is in a warehouse environment that can have a lot of dust. Normal office environment. Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching, manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment, and normal range of hearing and vision. May require lifting up to 30 pounds.
You have this.
- Must have a high School diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of warehouse administration experience required
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
- Able to multi-task and follow directions
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiple, and divide)
- Able to be flexible with priorities and daily tasks
- Preferred knowledge of warehouse software systems.
- SAP experience preferred
- Inventory experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
