This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Skilled Trades Recruiter based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to connect talented skilled trades professionals with meaningful career opportunities in the construction industry. As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will manage high-volume recruitment activities, build strong candidate pipelines, and support workforce solutions for evolving client needs. You will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and placing qualified trades professionals while delivering a positive candidate experience. The position combines sourcing expertise, relationship building, and operational excellence in a fast-paced recruiting environment. You will collaborate closely with account teams and business leaders to understand staffing requirements and deliver effective hiring strategies. This remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced recruiter who thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.

Accountabilities:

As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activities for skilled trades positions while building strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for skilled trades roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate placement.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and other sourcing channels.
  • Partner with account managers and leadership teams to understand workforce requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive and engaging experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, employee documentation, and compliance-related information.
  • Manage multiple open positions simultaneously while prioritizing urgent staffing needs and deadlines.
  • Use recruiting systems and workforce management platforms to track candidates and support hiring operations.
  • Adapt sourcing strategies to meet changing client demands and high-volume recruitment requirements.
  • Occasionally support evening or weekend recruiting activities to address time-sensitive staffing needs.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings hands-on recruiting experience within skilled trades or construction environments, strong sourcing capabilities, and the ability to manage high-volume hiring needs effectively.

  • 2+ years of dedicated recruiting experience focused on skilled trades, construction, or similar workforce sectors.
  • Proven ability to source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through multiple recruiting channels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-demand recruiting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate candidate information.
  • Experience with MSP or VMS environments is a plus.
  • Experience with recruiting platforms such as Avionte, JazzHR, and/or Fieldglass is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Additional monthly incentive and commission opportunities ranging from $2,500 to $3,500.
