Onsite Support Representative in Bronx, New York at Avidex Industries LLC

Position Summary:

The Onsite Support Representative works closely with their manager and hospital staff to support and deliver television services to patients. This role includes assisting with service setup, collecting fees, providing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based onsite in a hospital setting and requires schedule flexibility, including weekends, along with frequent movement throughout the facility.

What You’ll Do

Visit patients in hospital rooms to explain television services and assist with setupCollect service fees and support patients with billing or payment optionsProvide basic troubleshooting support and escalate technical issues as neededCoordinate with internal service teams to resolve equipment or system concernsMaintain accurate sales, deposit, and service recordsFollow up with patients for service renewals and provide usage guidanceRespond to questions, concerns, and service-related requests in a timely manner Support equipment resets or minor adjustments when neededAttend training and follow company processes and standardsSupport the team with additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or GED required1+ year of experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling preferredComfortable handling payments and maintaining accurate recordsStrong communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of individualsDetail-oriented and dependableAble to manage multiple tasks and stay organized throughout the dayComfortable working in a hospital environment and supporting patients directlyAble to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or sensitive situations
