As a Deckhand, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe operation of our vessels while delivering the exceptional guest experiences that define the Nashville Riverboats brand. From sightseeing cruises and dinner voyages to weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, you'll help create unforgettable memories for thousands of guests each year.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and navigation duties
• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, cruising, and disembarking
• Maintain vessel cleanliness (decks, restrooms, public spaces, exterior)
• Assist with mooring, fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal
• Participate in required safety drills and emergency procedures
• Perform routine maintenance including washing, painting, and detailing

What You Bring

• Must be 18+ with valid state-issued ID
• Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes
• Physically able to lift, carry, and assist passengers in emergencies
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work long, flexible shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays)
• Team-oriented with strong situational awareness
• High school diploma
• Must participate in our U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) regulated drug testing consortium, as required for safety-sensitive maritime positions
• Ability to pass pre-employment and on-going random drug and alcohol testing
