We are committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction — and we’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Analyst to manage the company's payroll operations and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

What you'll do

1. Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
2. Perform payroll reconciliations to validate gross wages, deductions, taxes, and net pay.
3. Ensure earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and payroll adjustments are processed correctly.
4. Maintain payroll records and ensure timely completion of payroll activities.
5. Review employee timecards for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
6. Ensure payroll practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies.
7. Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, direct deposits, payroll policies, and reimbursements.
8. Prepare Certified Payroll reports supporting Davis-Bacon or other prevailing wage projects.

What We're Looking For

1. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Payroll processing experience
3. Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

1. Experience processing certified payroll
2. Experience with Vista by Viewpoint payroll software.
3. Experience in the construction, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or field service industries.
