This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant based in United States.
This role is an opportunity to serve as a senior technical advisor across business intelligence, data, and analytics environments.
You will act as a key escalation point, solving complex technical challenges and helping clients maximize their analytics platforms.
The position combines hands-on expertise with client-facing consulting, requirements discovery, and solution design.
You will work extensively with Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, Azure technologies, SQL, and related data tools.
The role also offers opportunities to mentor colleagues, strengthen support practices, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Success requires strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, technical depth, and the ability to turn complex needs into practical solutions.

- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex business intelligence, data, and analytics support issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced challenges across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and other analytics platforms.
- Lead client discovery sessions and requirements-gathering discussions to understand business objectives and technical needs.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical recommendations, analytics solutions, and implementation approaches.
- Support the onboarding of new managed services clients and help establish effective analytics support environments.
- Develop and maintain clear technical documentation, client-facing materials, knowledge resources, and solution guidance.
- Mentor support team members, provide technical direction, and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
- Collaborate with client success, delivery, consulting, and other cross-functional teams to drive successful client outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, internal training, process optimization, and the development of best practices.
- Explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity, documentation, troubleshooting, and analytics solution delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a professional services or private-industry environment, including at least 1 year in professional services where applicable.
- 5+ years of experience supporting, developing, or implementing business intelligence, analytics, data, or related technical solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including report development, data modeling, troubleshooting, and administration.
- Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting T-SQL queries.
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Experience delivering or supporting analytics solutions in a client-facing consulting, managed services, or internal technical support environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience providing training, support, consulting, or advisory services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Entra ID is an advantage.
- Experience with PowerShell automation, Python, and/or PySpark is preferred.
- Experience with Qlik products is a plus.
- A degree in a related technical or business field is preferred.

- Estimated base salary range of $88,000–$118,000, with actual compensation determined by factors such as location, skills, experience, education, certifications, business needs, and applicable regulations.
