BILINGUAL MEDICAL RECORDS COORDINATOR
Job OverviewOur client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Bilingual Medical Records Coordinator to join its Intake Operations team. This position supports concurrent intake, appeals intake, and other operational services by gathering, entering, organizing, and validating healthcare information received from hospitals and other sources.
The selected candidate will work with medical records, clinical information, documents, image files, and electronic systems to ensure that all information is processed accurately, completely, and within the required timeframes.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in medical records management or medical billing who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using multiple computer systems, and interested in working remotely within the healthcare industry.
Job ResponsibilitiesEnter demographic and clinical information into internal databases for concurrent and appeals intake cases.
Access client clinical systems to retrieve information and enter case recommendations.
Assist with document retrieval and troubleshooting information received through client or vendor systems.
Prepare, enter, index, and perform quality-control reviews of documents related to retrospective appeals.
Gather and process healthcare information received from hospitals through documents, image files, portals, and other channels.
Verify that case information is accurate, complete, properly organized, and entered within established timeframes.
Assist with telephone calls to provide case updates or recommendations to clients and payors.
Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, accuracy, and organization of medical and case-related documentation.
Communicate with concurrent and retrospective review teams, vendors, and application support teams as needed.
Monitor daily workflow, respond to changing priorities, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
At least one year of experience in medical records management, medical billing, or healthcare information.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of office procedures, telephone communications, recordkeeping, and administrative processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Demonstrated computer and typing skills.
Experience using portals, websites, databases, and downloadable data files.
Knowledge of health insurance appeal processes.
Understanding of confidentiality requirements and HIPAA compliance.
Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and time-management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a remote environment.
Must be comfortable completing the interview process entirely in English.
Full-time position: 40 hours per week.
Must be available to work Monday through Sunday, including weekends and holidays.
Must have the flexibility to work any assigned eight-hour shift between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. AST.
Occasional overtime may be required according to business needs.
Must be available to begin employment on October 5, 2026.
On-site attendance is required for the first day of onboarding.
Telecommuting begins on the second day of employment.
Temporary contract from October 2026 through May 2027.
$13.25 per hour
