About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for supporting fabrication, delivery, and warehouse operations to ensure materials are produced and delivered efficiently and accurately. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to operate equipment safely. This role is ideal for a dependable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality work. You will play a key role in maintaining production standards, supporting logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
- Operate metal fabrication machinery safely and effectively
- Fabricate materials accurately to meet customer specifications and company standards
- Perform quality control checks on all fabricated materials
- Assist with loading and delivering materials to job sites and warehouse locations
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for delivery
- Load delivery vehicles with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain logs, records, and production data
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Receive, log, and properly store incoming materials
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, yard, and workstation
- Support overall warehouse operations and company goals
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager
Minimum Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of warehouse, yard, or fabrication experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs consistently
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on organization and efficiency
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
- Forklift experience or certification (preferred)
- Experience with metal fabrication or roofing materials (preferred)
