About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for supporting fabrication, delivery, and warehouse operations to ensure materials are produced and delivered efficiently and accurately. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to operate equipment safely. This role is ideal for a dependable, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality work. You will play a key role in maintaining production standards, supporting logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do

• Operate metal fabrication machinery safely and effectively
• Fabricate materials accurately to meet customer specifications and company standards
• Perform quality control checks on all fabricated materials
• Assist with loading and delivering materials to job sites and warehouse locations
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for delivery
• Load delivery vehicles with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain logs, records, and production data
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Receive, log, and properly store incoming materials
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, yard, and workstation
• Support overall warehouse operations and company goals
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager

Minimum Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of warehouse, yard, or fabrication experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the workday
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on organization and efficiency
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
• Forklift experience or certification (preferred)
• Experience with metal fabrication or roofing materials (preferred)
