This is an unlicensed, high-volume sales qualification role focused on helping consumers navigate their insurance shopping journey. You will handle primarily inbound calls, understand prospects’ needs, and connect qualified consumers with licensed insurance agents. The role offers paid training, structured coaching, and a fast-paced environment where performance is recognized and rewarded. You’ll develop strong communication, objection-handling, and sales-oriented skills while working toward measurable monthly goals. This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone with recent call center, sales, or other metric-driven client-facing experience. Successful performers can have the opportunity to grow into broader sales responsibilities.
- Serve as a positive first point of contact by using an energetic, conversational, and professional tone with prospective customers.
- Handle a high volume of primarily inbound calls, approximately 200 calls per day, from sales prospects and third-party partners.
- Understand consumer needs and effectively qualify and screen prospects before transferring them to licensed insurance agents.
- Educate consumers on the value of comparison shopping and communicate the benefits of accessing multiple highly rated insurance carriers.
- Follow established scripts and qualification processes while confidently handling objections, stalls, and other barriers to transferring qualified prospects.
- Meet or exceed monthly transfer-rate targets and other key performance indicators.
- Participate actively in coaching, apply feedback, and continuously improve call-handling and sales qualification techniques.
- Contribute to a competitive, collaborative team environment where individual and team performance are recognized and celebrated.
- Maintain professional conduct and behaviors across all customer and internal interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent sales experience is preferred, particularly within the past two years, including call center, metric-driven sales, or other performance-based client-facing roles.
- Experience working in a professional office environment and a demonstrated record of job stability.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and conversational phone skills.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to remain effective while handling a high volume of interactions.
- Competitive mindset, self-motivation, resilience, and the drive to overcome objections and consistently achieve ambitious goals.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, follow established instructions, and respond positively to coaching.
- Comfortable using computers, software applications, phone systems, and other workplace technology.
- Demonstrated professionalism and sound judgment in customer-facing situations.
- Ability to work independently from a private, dedicated workspace that is free from distractions.
- Reliable hardwired high-speed internet connection with minimum download and upload speeds of 20 Mbps.
- Ability to remain seated at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Important: This is an unlicensed position. Candidates who currently hold insurance licenses will not be considered.
- Paid training with the tools and support needed to succeed.
- Fast-paced, performance-oriented work environment.
- Coaching and development opportunities designed to strengthen sales and communication skills.
- Competitive team culture with recognition for strong performance.
- Opportunity to progress into broader sales opportunities following demonstrated success in the role.
- Access to a range of insurance-related resources and comparison-shopping technology.
- Structured performance goals and clear KPIs.
