SCIENTIST, CLINICAL LABORATORY in POMONA, California at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center

Position Summary: Performs clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens according to established standards and practices. Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary for interpretation and performance of test results, age-specific data, quality control, instrument maintenance, and quality improvement practices. Assists in the instruction and education of new Clinical Laboratory Scientist and students with regard to testing procedures, department policies, quality control, and instrument maintenance. May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: [Required] Current valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the State of California. Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science or Medical Technology.

[Preferred Qualifications]: One + year of experience as a CLS in an acute care facility.

Salary range: $54.73 - $77.01 Salary will be commensurate with experience.
