• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs that support mission-critical platform operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to architect and deliver new services and customer-facing capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of robust distributed systems and backend infrastructure designed for high availability and reliability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Improve internal tooling, engineering workflows, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical initiatives with product roadmaps and business objectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support product adoption, system understanding, and operational excellence.
• Help shape engineering best practices and contribute to a strong, collaborative, and high-performing technical culture.

• 7+ years of experience in backend software engineering, with a strong focus on web services, APIs, and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies and programming languages such as Golang, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, databases, and modern infrastructure technologies such as GCP, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Terraform, or Apache Beam.
• Additional experience in data engineering or data pipeline development is highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Experience in fintech, banking, fraud prevention, AML, or compliance-related industries is highly preferred.
• Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
