Equine Barn Worker in Terre Haute, Indiana at Saint Mary-Of-The-Woods College

Responsible for feeding, cleaning stalls, handling horses, and the care of injuries

· Feed and water horses

· Clean stalls

· Keep stable area neat, sweeping, raking and watering

· Must have knowledge of handling horses and care of injuries.

· Administer routine medication and first aid to horses?

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Other duties as assigned

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Ability to safely use a tractor and farm implements

· Must have knowledge of horses’/horse care sufficient to accomplish jobs

· Must be available to work holidays and weekends when needed

· Must be flexible to meet the needs of the program

· Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds

· Must demonstrate reliable work habits

· Must have a valid driver’s license
