Job Description
CPP Clinics is a leading provider of medical aesthetics services, offering innovative treatments across multiple medspas under the CPP umbrella. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences and outstanding results, utilizing advanced technologies and personalized care.
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager leads marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of clinics, owning planning, cross-channel deployment, performance reporting, and stakeholder communication. The Manager operates as the strategic lead for clinic growth by setting direction, driving accountability across internal specialists and agency partners, and acting as the senior marketing voice in front of clinic leadership. This role is based in Montreal and works across our US clinic portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Planning Cycle: Lead the monthly strategy cycle across a clinic portfolio. Develop the marketing objective by analyzing revenue, channel performance, retention dynamics, and new customer growth. Intake clinic context (staffing, patient feedback, seasonality, market conditions) and translate it into prioritized decisions. Each monthly plan produces a measurable objective, a clinic theme, 2–3 promotions, and an intentional channel plan with clear success criteria.
- Performance Reporting & Insight: Report results by channel and initiative, interpret performance drivers, and translate findings into recommendations for the next cycle.
- Paid Ads: Own ad objective, campaign timing, clinic approval, and asset direction. Direct the Media Specialist and Ad Strategist to deliver campaigns on brief and on time.
- Events: Define goal, date, location, promo focus, and operational feasibility. Partner with the Event Specialist on execution and ensure events ladder to monthly objectives.
- Social Media: Set strategic direction (objective, theme, promotions, events, launches, provider focus) for the Social Specialist, who owns calendar creation and execution.
- Shopify: Lead launches and promo updates in partnership with the distribution center, Shopify agency, internal design team, and clinic. Write treatment copy, secure approvals, brief design, and deliver clean agency handoffs.
- Ad Hoc Design Projects: Direct copy, briefs, approvals, and final delivery across design projects, holding internal graphic design team to quality and timeline standards.
- SEO: Set portfolio-level SEO priorities based on clinic performance and surface them to the SEO Specialist for execution.
- Newsletters: Own end-to-end: purpose, subject line, copy, CTA, assets, tracking, build (GoHighLevel), audience targeting, clinic approval, and scheduling.
- Website Updates: Lead monthly updates including pop-ups, banners, provider bios, treatment pages, pricing, and shop links in partnership with the web agency. Own copy, design briefs, asset uploads, staging review, and clinic approval.
- Executive Communication: Present monthly boards to clinic leadership, providers, marketing contacts, and senior internal stakeholders. Summarize execution, analyze outcomes, recommend next actions, and present forward plans with executive-level clarity and confidence.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including direct ownership of a brand, location, product line, or book of business with accountability for outcomes
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end marketing cycles from strategy through reporting, ideally across multiple business units or locations
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate KPIs and performance data into clear, prioritized recommendations
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms
- Experience leading designers, agencies, and cross-functional specialists, with the ability to produce clean creative briefs and hold partners to quality standards
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage concurrent plans, pipelines, and launch calendars across a portfolio
- Polished written and verbal communication skills, with proven comfort presenting to clinic owners, providers, and senior executives
- Track record of operating independently in ambiguous environments and driving outcomes without close supervision
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to US clinic locations
- Valid driver's license and valid passport with the ability to travel between Canada and the United States
- Availability to support occasional evening or weekend events
Preferred
- Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, beauty, luxury, wellness, or other premium consumer or service-based industries
- Multi-location, franchise, or multi-market marketing experience
- Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on marketing ROI
- Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant marketing practices
What Makes This Role Different
- International scope, Montreal home base: Based in Montreal but working across US clinics, you get the lifestyle of one market and the scale of another.
- Work alongside top providers: Partner directly with some of the most respected doctors and providers in US medical aesthetics, surgical aesthetics, and wellness.
- On-the-ground integration: Approximately 25% of your time is spent in clinics, traveling to practices, embedding with their teams, and shaping strategy with real context, not from behind a screen.
- Real perks: Experience the treatments yourself at our clinics (injectables, lasers, facials, wellness services, and more) and enjoy corporate discounts on the premium retail brands we carry in clinic. You'll know the work because you've lived it.
- A fast, dynamic category: Medical aesthetics and wellness are evolving faster than almost any other corner of the beauty industry. Expect new devices, services, and trends every quarter, and the opportunity to influence how leading clinics respond to them.
