Texas Health Fort Worth is an 851-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital that has served Fort Worth and surrounding Tarrant County communities since 1930.
We offer advanced care in cardiovascular services, high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, neurosciences, orthopedics, and emergency medicine. Our hospital also features certified programs in Advanced Hip and Knee Replacement, Brain Tumor Treatment, Comprehensive Spine Program, and Advanced Palliative Care. We are also home to a kidney transplant program that underscores our high-acuity capabilities, and we support Graduate Medical Education (GME) to help train the next generation of physicians.
Texas Health Fort Worth is Joint Commission-certified as a Comprehensive Cardiac Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and a Level I Trauma Center. The Quality Manager has the following duties and responsibilities:
Manages day to day operations of hospital-wide quality improvement, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and medical staff peer review.
Manages and provides leadership to department staff
Plans, reviews, and analyzes the hospital-wide performance improvement plan to ensure the plan is based on current hospital needs and goals, regulatory requirements, and in alignment with THR initiatives and goals.
Manage peer review process and maintenance of physician quality profiles
Plans, reviews, and monitors continuous readiness for hospital-wide Joint Commission Accreditation and other regulatory/accreditation requirements.
Provides service excellence to all stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is an enterprise transformation leader with the credibility to influence executives, the operational mindset to execute, and the vision to help redefine healthcare delivery.
The successful candidate will bring:
Education
Bachelor's Degree healthcare related field Required
Experience
5 Years healthcare experience Required
and
2 Years performance improvement experience Required
and
1 Year management experience Required
RN Experience is Strongly Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Other license as applicable to degree Upon Hire Required
And
CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality with in 12 Months of hire Required
Lean Six Sigma a Plus
Skills
Computer, facilitation, written and verbal communication
