Job Description
Director of Case Management
Location: Maine Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Salary: $85,000 (salaried)
About the Role
Dirigo Support Professionals is seeking an experienced Director of Case Management to lead our Case Management Department. This position oversees service coordination for adults receiving Developmental Services in Maine, ensuring compliance with MaineCare and HCBS regulations. The Director provides supervision, training, and support to Case Managers while promoting person-centered planning and high‑quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor Case Managers; conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Ensure compliance with MaineCare Section 13 and all state and federal regulations.
- Review and approve Personal Plans and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee Person-centered Planning meetings and ensure timely coordination of services.
- Monitor service outcomes and participant satisfaction.
- Conduct departmental audits and manage billing accuracy.
- Provide training and continuing education for staff.
- Respond to crises and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Maintain personnel files and verify staff credentials.
- Collaborate with guardians, providers, and external agencies.
- Participate in organizational leadership meetings and strategic planning.
- Responsible for intakes and discharges of services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in social services, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience in human services or case management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in EIS data management systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, MaineCare, and HCBS compliance standards.
