Oracle Infrastructure Maintenance Developer/Tester Mid-Level

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Oracle Infrastructure Maintenance Developer/Tester Mid-Level based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of a mission-critical grants management platform. You will work across application development and quality assurance, helping ensure systems remain reliable, secure, interoperable, and scalable. The position combines hands-on work with Java, Oracle, and SQL alongside software testing and maintenance activities. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions. Your work will support modernization initiatives while helping maintain high standards across the application lifecycle. Accountabilities
  • Test, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications supporting critical business processes.
  • Contribute to application modernization, enhancements, interoperability, reusability, security, privacy, and system interface requirements.
  • Use Java, Oracle, and SQL technologies to support application development and testing activities.
  • Design and execute software tests to validate functionality, reliability, and compliance with defined requirements.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, document, and help resolve application defects and technical issues.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other project personnel to ensure requirements are accurately understood and delivered.
  • Support application maintenance and continuous improvement throughout the software development and testing lifecycle.
  • Apply software engineering and quality assurance best practices to deliver maintainable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to improving application development, testing, and maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in software development, software testing, quality assurance, application maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Oracle, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software testing processes and application quality assurance practices.
  • Experience developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of database technologies and SQL development.
  • Understanding of application interoperability, system interfaces, modernization, security, privacy, and reusability.
  • Technical training, professional certification, or a relevant degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate defects and identify root causes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders while working independently when required.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and reliable software delivery.
