Dashboard Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dashboard Specialist based in United States.

This fully remote role focuses on transforming complex Zero Trust maturity and implementation data into clear, decision-ready visual insights.
You will design dashboards, scorecards, trend views, and executive visualizations that help stakeholders understand progress and priorities.
The position combines data visualization, business intelligence, data quality, and cybersecurity reporting.
You will work closely with data engineering teams to support automated refreshes and consistent, reliable metrics.
Your work will enable both high-level executive decision-making and detailed analysis across pillars, capabilities, and implementation waves.
You will also contribute to recurring maturity reports, gap analyses, and implementation reporting.
This is an opportunity to make complex technical information more accessible and actionable within a large-scale Federal environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain visual components for monthly maturity scorecards, executive dashboards, and recurring reporting deliverables.
  • Create intuitive visualizations covering maturity trends, implementation progress, capability gaps, dependencies, risks, and capability-weighted priorities.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to automate dashboard refreshes and maintain consistent, trusted metric definitions.
  • Design dashboards that support both enterprise-level insights and detailed drill-down analysis by pillar, capability, implementation wave, or other relevant dimensions.
  • Translate complex technical and maturity data into concise, compelling visualizations that support executive decision-making.
  • Validate dashboard content against underlying source data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Maintain clear documentation covering metrics, filters, calculation logic, and other dashboard components.
  • Support quarterly maturity reports, assessment summaries, gap analyses, and implementation reporting with effective visual decision support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in dashboard development, business intelligence, data visualization, or a closely related discipline.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable analytics and visualization platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform complex technical or analytical datasets into concise, intuitive, and executive-ready visualizations.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, validation, documentation, and consistent metric definitions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience developing cybersecurity metrics, Zero Trust maturity reporting, or related security analytics.
  • Preferred: Experience producing executive-level reporting within a Federal environment.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating dashboards with automated data pipelines and refresh processes.
  • Preferred certifications include Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau certification, or Security+.
Benefits:
  • 100% remote work environment.
  • Full-time position supporting a significant Federal Zero Trust acceleration initiative.
  • Opportunity to work with modern data visualization and business intelligence technologies.
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, maturity measurement, implementation tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Opportunity to develop dashboards and analytics that directly support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration with data engineering and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Professional growth opportunities within a mission-focused technology environment.
