Job Description: A General Foreman will need to have complete supervision over all the foreman which include oversight of the operations such as monitoring safety, quality control, equipment maintenance and daily production/efficiency. The expectation is for you to have great leadership and the ability to make decision in any complex situations as they arise. This also includes applying Safety skills, Quality workmanship and having a trustworthy reputation to provide the utmost degree of value in every task that you perform.

Responsibilities:

· Plan, implement and manage construction tasks according to priorities and plans.

· Valid drivers license (CDL A preferred) with DOT med card

· Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors to ensure project timeline and schedule requirements are met

· Overseeing the management of multiple personnel in the field

· Identify pros and cons for each project that will help the efficiency and maintain strong financials. Assure that the crews are meeting their projected production goals associated with main and service implementations.

· Have great interpersonal and communication skills with the crews and customers.

· Allocate general and daily responsibilities to the foreman.

· Report on the progress of each project which will include project deadlines and any emerging complications and issues that you are facing.

· Assist and guide the foreman with problems as they arise in the field.

· Manage and monitor all foremen attendance and work ethic. If a foreman has poor performance a PIP or write up must be performed immediately.

· Assure that all the foremen are handing in/submitting their paperwork daily such as tailboards, billing spreadsheets, field tickets, DOT pre-trips inspections, QA/QC self-audits and timesheets and any BGE required paperwork.

· Maintain accurate records for daily jobs, labor hours, material and any issues encountered.

· Document any incidents on a delay or any change in project scope and communicate with project team

· Work with crews to minimize disturbance to customer services and respond promptly to emergencies and customer complaints

· Thorough knowledge of the hazards associated with working around natural gas, heavy equipment at/near trenches and all the additional safety precautions.

· Hold foreman accountable for maintaining the cleanliness of all company owned and rented vehicles/equipment. In addition, all the fluids need to be checked prior to operation and any fitting that requires grease needs to be checked and/or greased daily.

· Inventory and inspect all vehicles and equipment daily to assure the maintenance and service is up to date.

· Adhere to the safety standards as defined by Precision Pipeline Solutions, safety standards and procedures.

· Proper utilization of your Stop Work/Time Out Responsibility, this needs to be utilized when there is a change in work conditions that hasn’t been communicated, when equipment is improperly used, or even if there is a lack of knowledge for a task that is being performed.

· Pass and retain Operation Qualifications as set forth by BG&E standards employment is contingent on the passing of Operator Qualifications during training

· If any required OQ is failed upon requalification, the employee will be responsible to schedule training and testing which will be on their own time. In addition, the current pay rate will be decreased until all required OQs are obtained

· Complies with all safety rules and regulations set forth by PPS

Qualifications:

· Holds all A-Tech qualifications and at least 10+ years of experience in gas distribution

· Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year.

· Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements. Ability to load, carry, lift, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time required

· Effective communication skills and ability to speak clearly with team members & clientele & the general public

· Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions

· Ability to act with integrity and respect of personal and public property

· Ability to work in all types of weather
