Job Summary

NEWITY is looking for an Sr. Operations & Reporting Analyst to support business and operations reporting across NEWITY's various departments. This role owns a demanding calendar of daily, weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly deliverables spanning NEWITY’s different loan programs as well as broader portfolio, servicing, and operational reporting across the business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has 2–3 years of experience in operations, reporting, or business analysis, and is comfortable working with financial data as part of a broader operational role.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Help manage business operations and payment reconciliation.
  • Provide portfolio updates and reporting
  • Handle accounts receivable and payment reconciliation, ensuring accurate processing
  • Prepare compliance reports as required
  • Conduct various financial analyses to support decision-making for other teams
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts
  • Draft presentations and prepare needed data analysis for operations team
  • Manage workload/backlog to ensure reasonable turnaround times and response times
  • Prepare bid sheets, trade confirmation data, and settlement reporting for loan sale cycle
  • Monitor loan sale deliverables for accuracy, flagging discrepancies as needed
  • Perform other ad hoc duties, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in an operations, reporting, or analyst role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards in Sigma or similar tools.
  • Experience working within an operational, CRM, or database platforms (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Jack Henry, or similar) to manage data sets, build queries, pull data, and generate reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to create SOPs and procedural documentation, and to manage a high volume of recurring, deadline-driven deliverables.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deliverables at once and adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting reporting findings to internal leaders or external partners.
  • High attention to detail with success roles requiring a high level of quality control
  • Basic scripting or programming exposure (SQL., R, Python) is a plus

Success in This Role

  • Every recurring report and deliverable — daily, weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly — is completed accurately and on schedule, with no missed cutoffs.
  • Discrepancies in funding, settlement, or balance data are caught and resolved before they affect downstream reporting or partners.
  • SOPs and process are followed and documentation stays current, enabling smooth cross-training and onboarding.
  • Loan sale cycle deliverables (bid sheet, trade confirmations, settlements) move through the process on schedule, without last-minute scrambles.
  • Brings an exceptional attention to detail.
