Regional VP of Operations
DME Express, LLC
Our MissionDME Express is committed to always being available to our patients by providing high-quality medical equipment and unmatched customer service.
Position OverviewThe Regional VP of Operations is responsible for leading the field operations team and providing strategic direction to support the company’s continued growth and profitability.
This leadership position oversees the development and performance of the field team while ensuring operational standards, inventory management, teamwork, and the DME Express Way are consistently maintained.
Reports ToCOO
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development- Hire, train, and retain a highly skilled field team with a strong focus on executing the DME Express Way.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
- Promote teamwork among coworkers, including assisting field operations, internal operations, and sales as needed.
- Communicate appropriately with management regarding potential concerns and problems.
- Ensure inventory management is completed across all warehouses to help guarantee equipment is ready for delivery.
- Support field operations as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional personal appearance.
- Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when working with employees, customers, and patients.
- Understand and follow the company handbook and all company or customer safety and environmental policies.
- Maintain the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, on a predetermined rotating schedule.
- Accept other duties and activities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a closely related field.
- Four years of relevant healthcare service and industry experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and on-the-job experience may be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.
- Proven proficiency in the use of a personal computer, along with a strong aptitude for technical applications.
- Demonstrated time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods in an office environment.
- Ability to squat and crouch as needed while pulling, lifting, and moving boxes, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to complete all listed physical requirements, as well as reasonable requests throughout the duration of the job.
