This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer, Power Platform and Dynamics 365 based in Canada.
As a Senior Developer, you will design, build, and support complex business solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. You’ll combine low-code and pro-code development to create scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. The role spans application development, integrations, lifecycle management, and advanced platform customization. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and architects to turn requirements into effective technical solutions. You’ll also help advance AI-enabled automation using Microsoft technologies and contribute to development standards and best practices. As a senior member of the team, you’ll have opportunities to mentor peers, participate in technical reviews, and help resolve complex platform challenges. - Design, develop, implement, and support complex solutions using Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
- Build advanced platform extensions using C# and JavaScript/TypeScript, including plugins, custom workflows, form logic, and PCF controls.
- Design and manage integrations with external systems through REST APIs, custom connectors, JSON, OAuth, and Azure services.
- Contribute to application lifecycle management, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and multi-environment management.
- Ensure solutions meet high standards for performance, security, reliability, and scalability while proactively troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Develop and promote technical best practices, documentation, code quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in peer reviews and provide mentorship and technical guidance to other developers.
- Support the broader platform and contribute to resolving complex production and application issues.
- Explore and implement AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and business capabilities.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as business priorities and departmental needs evolve.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar software development role, preferably within a comparable technology environment.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering end-to-end solutions with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Dataverse, as well as Dynamics 365.
- Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365 customization, including data modeling, business logic, solution architecture, and platform configuration.
- Proven experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, custom connectors, and Azure services.
- Experience developing AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft technologies such as AI Builder, Copilot, or Azure AI services.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and multi-environment deployment strategies.
- Advanced programming skills in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience creating plugins, workflows, and user-interface extensions.
- Microsoft PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate certification is required; PL-600, AB-620, and AB-100 certifications are considered assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and design practical, scalable solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to technical best practices.
- Professional fluency in English is required, as the role involves regular written and verbal communication with English-speaking customers and stakeholders.
- Annual base salary ranging from $81,000 to $116,000, with final compensation tailored to skills, experience, and qualifications.
