This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior II Data Engineer based in India.
This is a senior data engineering role focused on building the analytical foundation for enterprise Finance transformation.
You will serve as a key technical expert within an enterprise data engineering, analytics, and intelligence function.
The role centers on Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), including data loads, semantic models, KPIs, dashboards, and data architecture.
You will partner closely with Finance leaders across Accounting, Revenue Operations, and Business Finance to integrate systems and improve data accessibility.
Your work will enable operational intelligence, enterprise reporting, and scalable self-service analytics across critical business processes.
You will also translate complex technical roadmaps into practical solutions for business stakeholders and guide Finance system evolution.

- Partner with Finance leadership across Accounting, Customer Revenue Operations, and Business Finance to architect system migration and integration initiatives within Oracle Cloud.
- Configure and manage Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) data loads, semantic models, KPIs, and dashboards to transform Finance data into actionable operational intelligence.
- Build, maintain, and improve enterprise data structures that support reliable reporting and self-service analytics.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise data catalog, helping Finance users understand, discover, and effectively use available data.
- Serve as a primary technical expert and consultant for Finance system process changes, data requirements, and technology roadmaps.
- Translate Finance business processes and data lifecycles into scalable data architecture and analytical solutions.
- Support cloud ERP transformation initiatives and ensure data integrations align with business and technical requirements.
- Create enterprise-level reports and analytical outputs using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Work with relational databases and develop complex SQL queries to support data analysis, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving data quality, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate complex technical concepts, architectural decisions, and roadmaps clearly to non-technical Finance stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and resolve complex data and systems challenges while adapting to evolving business requirements and technology priorities.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), with strong expertise in its data loads, dashboards, semantic models, and analytical capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Finance business processes and data lifecycles, particularly across Accounting, Customer Revenue Operations, and Business Finance.
- Proven experience with data architecture and cloud ERP transformation initiatives involving platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Workday, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Oracle FDI environments for business reporting and operational analytics.
- Strong relational database management experience, particularly with Oracle or comparable RDBMS platforms.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, validation, transformation, and reporting.
- Experience developing enterprise reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence tools.
- Strong functional understanding of ERP Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Revenue, as well as their underlying data structures.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, integration concepts, reporting frameworks, and enterprise data management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
- Ability to explain complex technical roadmaps, data concepts, and system changes to Finance and other business stakeholders.
- Proactive, curious, and self-motivated approach, with a strong ability to take ownership and solve complex problems independently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in a flexible, collaborative, global environment.
