The Senior Treasury manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s daily liquidity, cash management, banking relationships, banking operations, Treasury controls, and financial assurance activities to support the operations and growth of a fast-paced environment. This role manages financial risk, supports project-level and corporate financings, oversees security instruments, and ensures effective capital deployment across utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage assets.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and oversee daily cash positions across multiple accounts and entities.
  2. Forecast short-and-long-term cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and capital needs.
  3. Optimize intercompany cash transfers and funding strategies.
  4. Serve as the primary liaison with commercial banks and financial institutions.
  5. Manage onboarding and maintenance of new bank accounts, signatories, and treasury services.
  6. Assist in implementing and maintaining treasury management systems including electronic payments, wire transfers, banking administration and treasury controls related to cash disbursements.
  7. Track corporate-level debt payments, interest schedules, DACAs, and escrow accounts.
  8. Coordinate with FP&A, Financial Compliance, Accounting, Project Finance and Legal on project finance closings and refinancings, debt draw requests, project funding requirements, and quarterly compliance.
  9. Manage and monitor financial assurance instruments, including letters of credit, surety bonds, and related credit support arrangements.
  10. Develop, maintain, and enhance treasury policies, procedures, controls, and banking administration processes to support a scalable treasury function.

Education and Experience Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 6+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior analyst role.
  3. Solid understanding of cash flow forecasting, treasury operations, and banking relationships.
  4. Experience with debt instruments and financial covenants in corporate finance settings.
  5. Experience with letters of credit and surety bonds
  6. Strong excel and financial modeling skills.
  7. Experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance sectors preferred.
