  • Develop robust APIs using REST and/or GraphQL while ensuring reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • Design effective data models and optimize storage solutions across relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Drive engineering best practices around architecture, code quality, testing, observability, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with product teams, engineering stakeholders, and customers to understand requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Take ownership of software development lifecycle activities, including implementation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, refactoring, and engineering workflows while maintaining high standards for security and quality.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced backend engineer with strong system design capabilities, cloud expertise, and a passion for building reliable infrastructure at scale. They should be comfortable working independently, leading technical decisions, and operating in a fast-moving technology environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with significant expertise in backend systems.
  • Strong experience designing and architecting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in backend programming languages, with strong expertise in Go required; experience with Java, Kotlin, C++, or Node.js is a plus.
  • Experience building and operating cloud-based applications using platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and/or GraphQL API development.
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software testing practices, unit testing frameworks, and quality engineering principles.
  • Proficiency working in Linux environments and using Git-based workflows.
  • Experience designing scalable solutions for telecom, connectivity, or infrastructure platforms is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with telecom standards such as TMForum and 3GPP is a plus.
  • Strong ability to communicate with stakeholders, translate requirements into architecture, and independently drive projects to completion.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude to improve development efficiency.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary package with stock option incentive opportunities.
  • Company-paid healthcare coverage.
  • Flexible remote work arrangements.
  • Opportunity to work on innovative telecom infrastructure used by businesses globally.
  • International and collaborative work environment with opportunities to work across different regions.
  • Company-sponsored team lunches and company retreats.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies across cloud infrastructure, microservices, APIs, mobile applications, and data platforms.
