Schedule: Available Days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday NOC Shift 1800-0630

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide exceptional, person-centered care to our residents. In this rewarding role, you'll be an essential part of our healthcare team, helping residents maintain their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
This position is a part of the SEIU 775 Union.
What You'll Do:
As a CNA, you will provide direct care and support to residents while working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Dressing and grooming
- Bathing and oral hygiene
- Hair care
- Incontinence care
- Assisting residents with meals, including obtaining food trays and supporting residents during mealtime.
- Helping residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Assisting with turning and repositioning residents to promote comfort and safety.
- Measuring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Monitoring and documenting food and fluid intake/output.
- Accurately documenting resident care, ADLs, restorative services, and device usage according to facility policies.
- Participating in interdisciplinary care planning meetings as needed.
- Supporting individualized, person-centered care plans that honor resident preferences and choices.
- Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts.

- Hourly wage: $22.75 - $30.64 (depending on experience)

Requirements:Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses/Certification
Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
Valid CPR certificate preferred.
Experience
Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
