Job Description

HySafe is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join as an Inspections Operations & Project Manager who will own the technical and project-management execution of HySafe's inspections work, from job intake through completion. This role manages scheduling and oversight of territory managers and inspection technicians, ensures inspection quality and ANSI/OSHA compliance, and keeps department SOPs current and followed in the field.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle—from kickoff through completed installation
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage the full inspections project lifecycle; scheduling, execution, and closeout; in accordance with department SOPs
  • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development of territory managers and inspection technicians, including new hire interviews and technical skills-building
  • Schedule and dispatch territory managers and inspection technicians; coordinate travel, lifts, materials, and other job logistics
  • Oversee territory managers and technicians and hold them accountable to quality and productivity expectations
  • Review territory managers and technicians' inspection reports for accuracy and completeness; investigate and escalate any discrepancies (e.g., against third-party load-test data)
  • Ensure all inspection work complies with ANSI/OSHA standards and other applicable regulations
  • Pull job information and prepare bids/quotes for repair work in coordination with Sales Executive
  • Participate in updating department SOPs and technical process documentation
  • Review payroll hours and per diems for territory managers and field technicians
  • Manage vendor relationships tied to inspection/testing and equipment repair
  • Track territory managers and technicians' job throughput and performance; report on operational KPIs to the Inspections Leader
  • Perform technical site assessments in support of Inspections, Sales, and Construction teams

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade training a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in field operations, project management, or a related technical role, ideally in fall protection, construction, or industrial services
  • Working knowledge of ANSI/OSHA inspection standards, or ability to quickly build that expertise
  • Prior experience overseeing field technicians or crews
  • Experience with system inspection and repair processes
  • At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry is required
  • At least 3 years of experience preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, is a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience planning and supervising construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Ability to manage the life cycles of projects with multiple timelines
  • Ability to work at heights and pass any required safety certifications for site work
  • This role may require trave of up to30-50% of the time
  • Strong math skills, analytical thinking, detail oriented, and proficiency with estimating software and all Microsoft Office programs preferred
  • Must be comfortable and confident working at heights, including climbing rooftops, for occasional onsite assessments
