Marketing Intern – Digital Marketing & Communications in Colombo at 99X Technology

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and support the day-to-day execution of digital marketing, internal communications, content and marketing events.

This is a hands-on role that will provide exposure to digital marketing, social media, content creation, website management, email marketing, reporting and event coordination.

The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, creative and willing to learn, with an interest in marketing and communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support digital marketing and website management activities.
• Assist with social media content and scheduling.
• Support internal and external communications.
• Assist with email marketing and newsletters.
• Support the creation and management of marketing content, including website content and digital assets.
• Assist with marketing reports and data updates.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing and internal events.
• Assist with event photography, videography and content collection.
• Support employee engagement and internal marketing initiatives.
• Assist with university and industry engagement activities where required.
• Maintain and organize marketing materials, files and digital assets.
• Provide general support to the marketing team across ongoing projects and campaigns.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Creative, proactive and eager to learn.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media.
• Comfortable working with common digital and productivity tools.
• Basic photography, videography or design skills would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
