About the Role:

The Construction Technology Specialist plays a pivotal role in integrating advanced technological solutions within construction projects to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality. This position is responsible for evaluating, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge construction technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), drones, and construction management software. The specialist collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure seamless technology adoption that aligns with project goals and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with construction technologies or in a construction-related technical role.
  • Proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Autodesk Revit or Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with drone operation and data analysis in construction environments.
  • Certification in construction technology or project management (e.g., PMP, Certified Construction Technologist).
  • Proficient using Trimble Business Center
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages to customize technology tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based construction management platforms and IoT applications.
  • Experience working in a professional, scientific, or technical services environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and recommend construction technologies that improve project workflows and outcomes.
  • Implement and manage software platforms including BIM, project management tools, and data analytics systems.
