We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Garage Door Technician Helper to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to install, service, and repair commercial garage doors and related equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial garage doors, springs, cables, tracks, and operators
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently
• Perform basic tasks under direct supervision, including drilling, cutting, and fastening components
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all job sites
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all times
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment from company vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned by the lead technician or management

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation to report to the shop or assigned job sites
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in various weather conditions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the trade
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive team-first attitude
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Prolonged standing and walking on various surfaces
• Repetitive use of hands and arms for installation and repair tasks
• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions
