JOB SUMMARY:
The Enterprise Sales Executive is responsible for establishing profitable new direct customer relationships and providing senior‑level sales leadership within the ECRS direct sales organization. This role focuses on engaging regional and multi‑store operators, demonstrating deep expertise in and strong advocacy for the ECRS product suite. Enterprise Sales Executives are highly trained in the art and science of strategic selling and serve as the corporate face and voice of ECRS in the marketplace. Each executive is expected to make a significant contribution to the company’s growth by driving high‑value opportunities and delivering measurable business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, qualify, and aggressively pursue high‑value leads, with a strong focus on regional and multi‑store operators.
- Meet or exceed assigned quota and metric commitments.
- Manage all sales activity and overall customer relationships with personally developed or assigned strategic accounts.
- Act as a leader on the ECRS Direct Sales team, providing mentorship and training to National Sales Executives.
- Maintains a consistently managed CRM pipeline in alignment with established CRM standards and expectations, keeping all active leads and opportunities up to date.
- Travel to regional and national trade shows, national prospecting to seek new business, and to maintain existing assigned account relationships.
- Faithfully represent ECRS' Mission and Values Statement in daily work.
- Establish win-win relationships between ECRS and its customers and serve as customers’ advocate.
- Establish the value of each ECRS product or service with prospects and customers.
- Strive daily to grow ECRS’s market-share and industry domination.
- Manage, maintain, and grow existing customer business.
- Present a positive and professional demeanor and exhibit harmonious conduct both within ECRS and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in combined education and professional experience. Sales focused education is a plus.
- 5+ years of sales experience engaging regional or enterprise‑scale retailers in the retail sector. Experience selling to grocers, natural food stores or coops is a plus.
- Ability to proactively recognize, plan for and overcome obstacles and objections during the sales process.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prospect and execute lead generation strategies.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain industry and ECRS specific product knowledge.
- Demonstrate a professional approach and attitude, including professional appearance, etiquette, trustworthiness, and reliability.
- Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Resiliency and maintaining a positive mental attitude.
