Expansion Coordinator

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Expansion Coordinator in United States.

This role is focused on supporting the growth and engagement of a national network of volunteer leaders who are advancing a mission-driven organization across the country. You will work closely with the Director of Expansion to coordinate events, strengthen communication, and ensure volunteer leaders feel equipped and supported in their local efforts. The position blends operational coordination, relational engagement, and data management to help scale a distributed leadership model. You will play a key role in onboarding new volunteers, maintaining accurate systems, and ensuring smooth execution of trainings and gatherings. A strong emphasis is placed on building meaningful relationships, fostering community, and ensuring volunteers have what they need to succeed. This is a highly collaborative and purpose-driven role where organization, communication, and people skills directly contribute to national growth.

Accountabilities
  • Coordinate and support Hub and Coach events, ensuring smooth execution from registration through follow-up and consistent communication with leaders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate expansion-related data across systems such as Salesforce and Monday.com in partnership with leadership.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new volunteer leaders, ensuring clarity of role and alignment with mission and expectations.
  • Provide ongoing relational and operational support to volunteers through regular communication, encouragement, and problem-solving assistance.
  • Strengthen engagement by creating consistent touchpoints that foster appreciation, connection, and belonging among leaders.
  • Assist in planning and executing trainings, conferences, and key expansion events that support national growth initiatives.
  • Ensure timely, clear, and effective communication across volunteer channels and respond to inquiries and needs proactively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic expansion initiatives and organizational goals.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience working with Alpha in a staff or volunteer capacity.
  • Strong understanding of Alpha’s mission, values, and community engagement model.
  • Proven experience in coordination, program support, or project management roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a relational and supportive approach.
  • Proficiency with technology tools including CRM platforms, project management systems, and social media.
  • Ability to build relationships, support teams, and engage effectively with volunteer leaders.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting events, training programs, or distributed networks is a plus.
