Description:

***1ST & 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE

Purpose and Scope:

· Supervises the daily activities of an operational unit. Monitors and assists staff to maintain workflow and achieve targeted operational and financial results. Implements practices to ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Resolve operational issues and escalate complex issues as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Managing and overseeing daily operations within the department.

· Meeting customer and company KPI’s and SLA’s on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis as requested.

· Evaluating employees based daily duties and responsibilities.

· Verifying employee time/payroll information.

· Assisting in managing department workforce, reinforcing company policy and procedure, and establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships across the organization.

· Assisting manager with planning and budget process.

· Operate in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with complex deadlines.

· Communicate with customers, vendors, and employees.

· Overseeing all shipping/receiving operations.

Requirements:

Technical Requirements:

· Proficiency in using WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

· Strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).

· Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

· Understanding f supply chain principles and logistics.

· Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

Experience:

· A minimum of Three (3) years of professional experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong initiative and making suggestions for improving processes.

Job Competency / Qualifications

Education/ Training:

  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Experience:

· A minimum of Five (5) years of professional experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations.
