About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable and flexible Front Office Specialist to join our team in a floating role. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and doesn’t mind jumping in where they’re needed most. You’ll help cover different clinic locations when team members are out, and when you’re not covering, you’ll work from your home base clinic supporting behind-the-scenes tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full front office coverage at various clinic locations as needed due to staff absences (PTO, illness, etc.)
  • Manage all front desk responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient check-in/check-out, and collecting copays.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and ensure accurate patient information is entered into the system
  • Coordinate and process patient referrals and obtain necessary authorizations when applicable
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for patients and visitors
  • Travel to assigned clinic locations within the designated service area

Back Office Responsibilities (Home Base Location)

  • Support administrative workflows to keep clinic operations running efficiently
  • Assist with insurance-related tasks, including follow-ups and issue resolution
  • Help manage authorization and referral tracking to ensure timely processing
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update patient information as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the clinic team
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1+ years of previous knowledge in a medical front office environment
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Experience with medical software preferred
  • Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Flexible, organized, and reliable
  • Great time management skills
  • Attentive to detail

Compensation: Hourly rate of $17 - $20 depending upon experience
