This opportunity is designed for experienced musicians and audio professionals who want to apply their expertise to the development of generative AI. You will evaluate AI-generated music across different categories and assess outputs for musicality, creativity, vocal quality, production, and adherence to prompts. Your feedback will help improve the quality and capabilities of next-generation musical AI models. The role combines detailed audio evaluation, music annotation, and domain-specific quality assessment. You will work remotely and independently while contributing your expertise to projects alongside AI researchers. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate music.

• Evaluate AI-generated music outputs, including lyrics, vocals, instrumentation, and other musical elements.
• Compare AI-generated music samples head-to-head and assess them based on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality.
• Apply audio-engineering terminology and professional musical judgment when evaluating generated content.
• Score and assess the quality of musical training data according to established evaluation standards.
• Annotate songs in detail using structured taxonomies, including genre and sub-genre, song structure, vocal characteristics, and instrumental elements.
• Apply your understanding of music performance, theory, composition, lyrics, and production when evaluating AI outputs.
• Provide consistent, detailed, and objective assessments that contribute to improving generative AI models.
• Understand and follow project instructions provided in English while completing evaluations in the relevant domain language.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, sound mixer, musician, or in a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of musical performance, music theory, songwriting, lyrics, and audio production.
• Demonstrated experience writing lyrical music in the relevant domain language.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu and English.
• Ability to critically evaluate musicality, vocal performance, production quality, mixing, and creative expression.
• Familiarity with audio-engineering terminology and the technical aspects of music production.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply structured evaluation criteria consistently.
• Ability to understand detailed instructions in English and work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• A college or university degree in music, particularly one covering performance, music theory, and lyrics, is preferred.

• Competitive compensation, with earnings of up to $170 per referral through the available referral program, subject to applicable restrictions.
