Part Time Production Inspector, 2nd shift in Nashua, New Hampshire at Crane Currency

Crane Currency is hiring a Part-time Quality Inspection & Material Handler Contractor to work 30 hours a week on 2nd shift in Nashua, NH. We manufacture the advanced security features used in U.S. currency and banknotes around the world. There's a good chance you've handled our product without even knowing it. Pay & Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Part-time schedule between the hours of 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (30 hours a week)

• $22.50/hr + 15% shift differential ($25.87/hr)

• Monday – Friday

How you will make an impact:

• Understand specifications for product construction, defect identification, and terminology
• Follow standard operating procedures
• Perform appropriate quality control tests and advise production supervisor and quality personnel of non-conformance
• Keep neat and accurate records applicable to the function
• Material Handling of products in process
• Deliver, remove & store finished products and/or raw materials
• Perform Inventory Cycle Counts or Physical Inventories
• Packaging and readying products

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous manufacturing machine experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Lifting requirement of 35 pounds.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and will need to demonstrate Suitability for employment in a Position of Public Trust consistent with our U.S. Government contract requirements.
