Position Summary
Culligan Quench is seeking a strategic, business-focused technology leader to oversee the enterprise business systems portfolio supporting Sales, Service, Field Operations, Customer Care, Marketing, and Finance — including Salesforce, ServiceMax, Certinia, Zuora, and related platforms that support both Direct and Indirect businesses.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Senior Director, of Business Applications will drive business systems strategy, roadmap planning, and solution delivery while partnering closely with business leaders to ensure technology investments support operational goals and future growth. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a product-minded approach to enterprise applications. This role owns intake governance, business systems roadmap, and delivery prioritization — leading IT Product Owners and Business Analysts through a structured intake model and Agile delivery discipline to translate business demand into prioritized, value-driven outcomes. This role partners with Platform Engineering for application architecture, technical design, development, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise business applications, with Salesforce serving as a core platform
- Establish and manage a structured intake process across Sales, Service, Customer Care, Marketing, Operations, and Finance — ensuring demand is captured, prioritized, and sequenced effectively
- Establish and mature Agile delivery practices including backlog prioritization, sprint readiness, and delivery transparency — leading IT Product Owners through consistent Agile ceremonies and frameworks
- Lead, coach, and develop IT Product Owners, Business Analysts, managers, and application teams supporting key business functions — driving accountability for backlog health, sprint execution, and value delivery
- Serve as a trusted technology partner to leaders across Sales, Service, Customer Care, Marketing, Operations, and Finance
- Lead prioritization and sequencing of cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, resource capacity, and roadmap commitments
- Drive modernization and optimization of business applications, workflows, and business processes — partnering with Platform Engineering for architecture decisions, integration design, and technical execution
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, optimization, and consolidation of enterprise applications, including ERP platforms and related business systems
- Define and track KPIs — including intake cycle time, backlog health, delivery predictability, adoption, and business value realization — using dashboards and analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, consulting partners, and system integrators to ensure quality delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with business systems strategy
- Partner with executive leadership to shape the long-term direction of the Business Applications organization
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within Business Applications, Enterprise Systems, Product Management, or Technology Delivery organizations
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise business application implementations and transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on leadership experience implementing NetSuite in a complex enterprise environment; prior ownership of a major NetSuite implementation is required
- Deep Salesforce ecosystem experience, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and related business applications
- Demonstrated experience leading Product Owners, Business Analysts, managers, application teams, and multiple concurrent Scrum teams within an Agile delivery model
- Strong understanding of Agile product delivery, including backlog prioritization, intake governance, roadmap planning, release management, and cross-functional delivery
- Strong understanding of subscription-based and recurring revenue business models, including Quote-to-Cash, Lead-to-Order, Billing, Customer Care, Field Service, and Finance processes
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable, integrated technology solutions across NetSuite, Salesforce, and related enterprise platforms
- Experience building and managing application portfolios and technology roadmaps
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business priorities
- Proven ability to drive organizational change management, technology adoption, and stakeholder alignment across multiple business functions
- Strong reporting, dashboard, KPI, and analytics experience
- Ability to work onsite in the King of Prussia area a minimum of two days per week
