YOUR ROLE

As a Chassis Mechanic, you will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on the GT Group fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing issues identified during inspections and carrying out the necessary repairs.

Responsabilities:

You will contribute to the truck maintenance team by performing, among others, the following tasks:

Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on chassis and trailers, including inspections, brake work, electrical repairs, tire changes, etc.

Perform diagnostics, preventive repairs, and scheduled repairs.

Test systems and components to isolate faults.

Notify the Shift Supervisor of any additional repairs required.

Operate and move equipment in and out of the maintenance facility for repairs.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar work environment.

Minimum intermediate-to-advanced level of French.

Known for your problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and ability to work within a diverse and dynamic team.

Well organized with a strong sense of punctuality.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
