Job Description

Warehouse Trainer

Provide hands-on leadership in the warehouse by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel. Record keeping of all training records. Frequent participation in loading, unloading, picking and receiving.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Safely and efficiently utilize warehouse material handling equipment
  • Train assigned personnel to accurately and consistently use warehouse management systems
  • Train assigned personnel in safe and efficient use of material handling equipment and supplies
  • Serve as a coach and mentor; Smile a lot; Be a good co-worker; Inspire others
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by using lean tools to eliminate in all areas of the position
  • Other duties as assigned

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Must be currently employed by Dot Foods orDot Transportation, Inc.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience on counter balance and reach trucks

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Prior experience in an environment that promotes safety
  • Leadership experience

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule: Tuesday- Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Indoor work with hot and humid or cold temperature extremes
