Job Description
Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Analytics and Operations Specialist uses data, digital channel expertise, and performance analysis to translate Boombah’ s business and category goals into measurable digital marketing plans. The role helps determine the appropriate channel mix, paid media investment, audience strategy, testing approach, and measurement framework, then uses performance data to refine recommendations and improve results.
This is not a content creation, graphic design, or social media publishing role. Content planning and production teams own the detailed content calendar, storytelling, organic social execution, and creative assets; this position provides data-driven direction on the level, type, and effectiveness of digital activity needed to support business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
Develop and prioritize integrated digital marketing plans across paid social, paid search, marketplace advertising, organic search, website/e-commerce, and other relevant channels.
Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, and Amazon Advertising, including recommendations for budgets, audiences, targeting, bidding, placement, and campaign structure.
Build and document testing plans to identify the most effective audiences, messages, creative approaches, channels, and offers, and scale successful strategies.
Partner with content planners and production teams to define creative needs and share performance insights that should influence future content and assets.
Analytics, Measurement and Reporting
Establish campaign KPIs and measurement plans, validate conversion tracking accuracy, and identify discrepancies that could affect reporting or platform optimization.
Analyze performance across paid media, social platforms, website traffic, e-commerce activity, and other digital touchpoints using metrics such as traffic, click-through rate, conversion rate, acquisition cost, return on ad spend, revenue, and engagement.
Develop recurring reports, dashboards, scorecards, and benchmarks that communicate performance trends, opportunities, underperformance, and actionable recommendations.
Use analytics tools and business data to evaluate customer behavior and campaign impact beyond individual platform-reported attribution.
Website, SEO & Owned Channels
Monitor organic search performance and identify opportunities involving keywords, landing pages, site content, technical/on-page SEO, and on-site search merchandising.
Partner with E-Commerce, Product, Marketing, and Web teams on landing-page strategy, product page requirements, conversion tracking, digital merchandising, and quality assurance for site releases.
Coordinate email and SMS campaign setup, audience segmentation, and measurement with the Marketing team.
Use website, search, and e-commerce data to recommend improvements to traffic acquisition, customer journeys, conversion opportunities, and campaign landing experiences.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Economics, Digital Media, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
2+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, paid media, marketing analytics, e-commerce marketing, or a related field preferred.
Hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Shopping/Performance Max, or Amazon Advertising.
Experience with Google Analytics 4, digital reporting tools, advanced spreadsheet analysis, and preferably dashboards or scorecards.
Working knowledge of SEO, paid search, paid social, e-commerce measurement, conversion funnels, audience targeting, campaign testing, product feeds, and site merchandising.
Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs with the ability to interpret imperfect or conflicting data, question attribution, identify meaningful patterns, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and collaborate across Marketing, Content, Product, E-Commerce, Web, and leadership teams.
Key Attributes for Success:
The successful candidate will be analytical, commercially minded, curious, and data driven. They should enjoy testing ideas, challenging assumptions, finding the “why” behind performance, and turning data into specific actions. This individual must be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution and working closely with content and production teams without owning the creative process. This role is joining at a point where much of Boombah’ s digital measurement infrastructure is being rebuilt. The successful candidate will help define how digital performance is tracked and evaluated, rather than simply reporting against systems that already exist.
